Re: Test SSL Certificate on a FTP server
Ah, sorry I missed that question. But this FTP server is the latest FileZilla server(currently v 1.9.4) which uses Explicit FTP over TLS, and the settings are: Minimum TLS: v1.2 (1.3 is also supported) Certificate has a SHA-256 fingerprint and is self-signed by the FileZilla server. Not sure if I ca...

Re: Test SSL Certificate on a FTP server
Hi, Hostmonitor version is v14.80 and I currently do the test via an active RMA, but I get the same problem directly from the hostmonitor server. I understand that the Certificate test might be a long shot, but since I got this odd message perhaps it is fixable? And what about the "File/Folder ...

Test SSL Certificate on a FTP server
Hi, We have a FTP server that is configured with a self-signed certificate for TLS via FTPS. I´m trying to do the Certificate test but it fails with a "SSL handshake failed. error 1408F10B:SSL routines:ssl3_get_record:wrong version number". Any idea on what I can do to fix this? I also tri...

Re: Best practise for handling "RMA not connected" issues?
Ok, I think I understand now. My FailureIteration setup won´t detect the test as bad until 3 fails in a row. And during the time between the first fail and the last my other tests might fail and sent alerts? So if I skip the FailureIteration setup and alter the Action profiles to "Start when 3 ...

Re: Best practise for handling "RMA not connected" issues?
Well, my reason for using FailureIteration is so that 3 failures of the test in a row should trigger an alert. Otherwise I will get many false alerts since its quite common to get a fail on a ping test now and then. And my alerts trigger an email and SMS to several people and I want to minimize the ...

Re: Best practise for handling "RMA not connected" issues?
Will this "master" ping test on the RMA work with "Use "Normal" status if (%FailureIteration% > 0) and (%FailureIteration% < 3)" which I have on almost all my tests? And is there are downside to using "rma itself" on the RMA servers ping test? In the manual it...

Re: Best practise for handling "RMA not connected" issues?
Aha, so if I understand correct, I should change the Ping test ipaddress on the RMA server to "rma itself"?
And then on all the other servers/devices in that network I set the above Ping test as master for all the other Ping tests?
//Andreas..

Best practise for handling "RMA not connected" issues?
Hi, I use active RMA to monitor certain networks in which there are a number of windows-servers and network devices. Normally I set it up so all tests on a server or device is dependant on the master test PING on that specific server. But the PING test itself does not have a master test currently. T...

Re: Missing performance values for Memory tests
That solved it for me!
Yes, I use "%" as test switch.
I added a space between my last ] and %, as you said, which immediately got a hit on the performance charts.
So super thanks for your quick help!
Best regards,

Re: Missing performance values for Memory tests
Hostmonitor version: 14.80
I use Tune up Reply for these. I see now that it´s only on my Memtest I use that.
Is that the reason perhaps?
Anyway, I have it set to this: [100-'%SuggestedReply%']%
The purpose is to shift from listing free mem to used mem as percentage.
Regards,
//Andreas..

Missing performance values for Memory tests
Hi, When I go to History Charts for these specific tests I get no values at all. so the performance charts are empty. At the top all the values for Max, Min and Average Reply are 0.00. The Availability seems to be correct. These specific tests are all Memory/Windows (WMI) tests and they correctly re...

Re: %FolderParent% variable doesn´t refresh after copy
Hi, I did some more testing and the problem seems to only occur when I copy an entire folder that contains several tests using %FolderParent%. If I copy just a test then there is no problem. So I copy an entire folder and then drag that folder to a different parent folder. Then the name won´t update...

%FolderParent% variable doesn´t refresh after copy
Hi, Just discovered that if I copy a test that uses %FolderParent% as Test name, the actual name of the Parent Folder sticks with the test when you move it to another folder. My fix now is to edit the test and click OK, which then updates the testname correctly. I assume there should be some checks ...
