jrweiss, You might want to contact Microsoft PSS about this. Since it is a known issue without a resolution (in Microsoft's eyes) this _should_ be a no charge fix. You might also search their knowledgebase (http://support.microsoft.com) for the DLL file name under Windows 2003 Server. You just might...

Another issue... I have a Linksys Gigadrive. It does SMB auth, but it does not take a domain. When I put it in Connection Manager it fails because I must put a Domain in. The Linksys doesn't know what to do with it so it fails. Here's what I tried... In Connection Manager \\192.168.99.30\, server1, ...

Marcus If your code is correct, it will never use the account specified in the Connection Manager, so I think the first line should be the check to the Connection Manager for an existing account: If I understand correctly in your situation Connection Manger never will because the account on the loca...

Alex, Its how Connection Manager works Please explain that to Connection Manager. :-? I've tried it several ways and only my matching paths work. Anything that is only at the device level (ie \\10.2.0.1\c$ <-device level) ignores the Connection Manager and will never connect unless I put the account...

Marcus, You're correct that no matter how you set the Connection Manager that it tries to connect with the current credentials first. If it suceeds then it has not reason to try any others. HM is running as an application for the moment under a admin flagged account. This account is meaningless to t...

Thoughts on Connection Manager.
Marcus, Try "net use" at the command prompt. It will show you a list of mappings. There will probably be one matching the path in the test but without a drive letter assigned to it. If it is there, HM authenticated sucessfully and something else it wrong. If it is missing. HM did not authe...

Just to make sure I'm clear... What I'm reporting is an consistancy issue. For several hours today the alerts triggered every time the RESULT changed even if STATUS didn't After a few hours I started missing alerts. The STATUS and REPLY values were changing, but the alerts weren't firing. I rolled b...

External Script doesn't alert on every Reply change
I've writen a script that checks the number of voice mail messages on our server. When there are no messages the script returns Ok: 0 Messages. When Messages are present it returns Bad: 1 Messages and HM fires an alert. If a second message is left the script will return Bad : 2 Messages but HM may o...
