Status is unknown, nothing gets returned. Previously you would get a number of stopped services.
HostMonitor is running on Windows SBS 2008 R2 up to date.
Agents are running on SBS 2003 mostly and are all latest SP about a month behind latest MS patches.

WMI Check for stopped services has stopped working
I have been monitoring services on remote systems using WMI to check if any atuostart services have stopped. I have just noticed that these tests have stopped working at some point (but were set to be OK if unavailable for some reason). I use the following line: SELECT Name FROM Win32_Service WHERE ...

Tests responding with RMA not connected
I have a new Active RMA installed as a service on a Windows 2008 SBS machine and RMA manager says it is connected and can query the RMA settings.
When I add a test that uses the RMA (e.g. PING localhost) I get a reply of RMA not connected.
Not sure how to go about diagnosing this.

I feel like we are going around in circles :) Help doesn't work on the HM server it just gives that error I detailed above. I will stick to a custom install, as I don't want to install RCC obviously and I also don't want the telnet server but I will tick the Windows RMA from now on but not run the R...

Probably this is caused by Microsoft security patch. You may modify registry to fix the the problem. Please check the following article: http://www.ks-soft.net/cgi-bin/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=2847 I don't have 1.x key on that server and adding the HHRestrictions key and the settings to the 2.0 key di...

If you need to install RMA on an array of systems, then the easiest way is to: 1) Install it on one system using installation program (see the instructions in previous paragraph) 2) Configure an agent (setup timeout, password, list of enabled tests, enable or disable remote management, etc) 3) Then...

RMA manager to inform and check versions
When doing an RMA upgrade via RMA Manager, it would be really really handy if it told you the version of the old and new RMA in the dialog before you confirm you want to go ahead. That way you can be sure you haven't pointed at an old or same version by mistake. E.g. Current Active RMA on server xyz...

Updated installer that handles upgrades better
OK I never look forward to upgrading as I always forget what I did to make it work properly last time, what features I installed, etc. The installer seems to be custom built, not sure why a standard one isn't used? Time for an upgrade? Here is my brief wish-list for the installer: * Tell you at the ...

Start RCC with a default View not Folder
Is there a way to start RCC with a default View displayed instead of Folder view?
I am finding that I have so many tests that it's best to just have the bad and warnings displayed most of the time.
