Can we monitor a Single Page Application (SPA)?

Hi, Our websites and web apps are all Single Page Applications based on the Angular framework. Can Advanced Host Monitor run and monitor javascript based SPAs? Here is an example you can try: https://demos.creative-tim.com/material-dashboard-angular2/dashboard If we wanted to verify that the string ...

Help with "advanced mode" action

Hi, I hope you can help me with this issue. I would like to achieve this result: 1) If the test is bad for 4 consecutive iterations then send email "A" for each iteration 2) If the same test is bad for more than 4 consecutive iterations then send ONE email "B" (and not send any o...

Thanks Alex, I tried to stick the "PauseAlerts 180" right into the dialog box (assuming it will take a one-line-command), but I got it, I will just create a script file with this one line in it instead and browse for it. No problem. Thanks! peter.egri.citrix, thanks for the suggestion, I c...

Alex, when I type "PauseAlerts 180" into the script dialog box it auto-convert it to this: "C:\Program Files\HostMonitor8\PauseAlerts 180"
Is that the right way to do it?

Thanks.

Alex, thanks for the rapid answer. under Monitoring --> Pause I don't see a place to have it as a recurring pause (say Every Wednesday night between 2am to 4pm)? what am I missing? and if there's no such option via this menu/setting is there another way? I understand we will lose critical alerts tha...

Pause/disable alerts on the schedule for all the tests?

Hi, I need to pause/disable alerts on all our tests during the "Windows Update" timeframe so we don't get all the alerts that this event causes (alert storm from machines, eventlogs, switches via snmp due to reboots etc.) during a specific time (2 hours every week). I know I can setup a mo...

Got it. I just wanted to use consistent terminology and always say "Ok", "Bad" or "Unknown" and was hoping I can somehow make HostMonitor use "Ok" instead of "Host is alive" and "Bad" instead of "No answer". Not a big deal, the us...

Is it possible to use variables in the EventID filtering?

Hi, We are using a lot of NTLog monitors (System/Application etc.) and from time to time we discover EventIDs that we consider "noise" and want to filter them out. So we obviously use the "Any except the following" list feature on the monitor properties. But... the thing is that ...

Alex Thanks!!! this solved the issue. I changed the host to "localhost" and the RMAed WMI tests come back just fine. If you want to use RMA to check local system (system where RMA is installed), I would recommend to specify "localhost" hostname or "127.0.0.1" IP address...
