same problem
 the same message came up for me. Here's the information: Host Monitor: Version 5.70 Web Server: Version 2.24 License: Enterprise O/S: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition w/ SP1 I resolved it by closing Host Monitor (hostnom.exe) and restarted it. Then restarted the web services. Ho...

nothing was done before the errors started appearing. We manage i believe around 700 servers, and for about two weeks we get down alerts for this problem on UNC path on servers in totally different environments. I wish we could check Disk Space Free by %, but that's not an option on the version I us...

Want to upgrade host monitor software on current license
I know it can be done, but we have to upgrade our license because we purchased it more then 12 months ago. However, are we entitled to at least go back to an archived version that was released within the date of our last purchase?

Yeah the test is UNC, because the Disk Space tests do not have the option to check percentages, just GB/MB/KB Windows Server 2003 is installed on these systems returning these errors. oh, and VMware isn't in use on our Watchdog system, although we are moving the system to a VM in the near future wit...

RMA: 301 errors showing everywhere
The last few days, we have been receiving alerts for our clients on disk space issues. The alerts have been 90% false, coming back with one of these errors: Status: Unknown Reply: RMA 301 - An operation was attempted on a nonexistant network connection OR Status: Unknown Reply: RMA 301 - The specifi...

Upgrading from 5.70 to newest version
Hello, We have 710 remote monitoring agents active. I wanted to upgrade the software from 5.70 to the newest version, and the option is there to Upgrade when running the installation executable. If problems arise, how easy would it be for me to revert back to the old version? Would I have to uninsta...

Information Store Dismounting.. any check for this?
Although our company does use a somewhat outdated version (shown below), does HostMonitor have a way of alerting us when a client's Information Store in Exchange gets dismounted? OS: Windows Server 2003 VS: HostMonitor Version 5.9 If not, I think I know of a workaround that includes alerting us when...

Best Practices for Backing up HostMonitor Program/Data?
Hello, What is the easiest way to backup the Host Monitor data and its configurations? I am worried if the server crashes we will lose the configuration. I know it is an .xml file, but besides backing those up, should I just have the whole directory (minus the logs) backed up? Secondly, What does RM...

Thanks very much for your assistance. I feel it was a configuration issue on the engineer's part. We have been having issues with this program and thought it was worse then it actually is. EDIT: and it was. The engineer thought we needed it to monitor Drive Space, and not UNC paths. I use UNC paths ...

HostMonitor 5.7 Error: 600 (Resolved)
Hello,
I am trying to add a test to watchdog, and now see the error

Anyone have any idea why it is doing this? I was able to add a few tests before that, but the test failed with the same problem.
