I have a whole bunch of alert profiles and want to know if there is way of changing them one shot without having to edit each one which I find time time consuming.
thanks

The authentication is embedded within the HTML code, not an NT challenge, I already tried the way suggested and it is the same responce either way and makes no difference. URL test hangs at times and slower than HTTP test. How does one validate HTTP header errors using HOSTMON?. If the link is ran m...

True but the header pasted earlier on the post contains no errors and if I am to launch the link, I am prompt for a username and password but with no errors. I am not familiar with that script and not sure if it would work as the poster refers to creating a script at the time when HOSTMON didn't sup...

HTTP test error code 401 / error msg access denied
I am not sure why this is happening, I have a link that needs to be monitored for any type of content so as long as the page opens(http://heat2/HeatSelfService/default/en-us/login.asp). I left the http test as the default settings then run the test manually using the test option, the results posted ...

AV is on every system by a Corporate policy. Even then that shouldn't cause false negative results but what I noticed is that when I selected the replicator option to discover hosts by DNS names and imported into HM, check service on import had the UNC as \\server.abc.com which is the fully qualifie...

We run HostMonitor as a service, using a service account. This service account is created on all servers, giving it the appropiate permissions I assume by that statement that you are running an agent on each server, my enviroment is validated with validated applications with no chance of running an...

Have you looked at the security logs of your target servers. Most likely you are using two different accounts. Unless you mean that selecting more than 1 test to perform has a different result than running eacht test one by one. In that case I have no clue All servers are member servers of a single...

We did not experience such behavior either. How many service tests are you running of the same type to validate that statement?. Simliar or more than?. I have created 300 more TCP/IP tests today without seeing these types of issues. Apparently the problem is in the service tests, also I need to cre...
