I've been away from this for awhile.. Now that I am back to it, If I put in the action profile in when the statistics get regenerated, what kind of schedule should I put it in... Will it work with once a day?

If you right click on the root folder in hostmonitor and click on Statistics, there is an option to reset statistics every month.
