Alex, Should it be possible to create and edit tests through the web interface yet or is that not yet implemented? I'm logging in using the default Admin setup and only getting the ability to view test information, not add or edit. Also, there's no user add/edit option that I can see either unless I...

I tried this update and it's closer to alphabetical but still not there. I did resort alphabetically in the folder window before saving and it still wan't sorted correctly. I've posted a static copy of what I'm getting. As you can see, it's sorting the tests correctly now but not the folders. Wow......

That's exactly what is happening. Sorry, I should have been clearer in explaining that. Is there any way to sort the folders alphabetically?

I'm using HM 3.69d that I migrated up from 3.68. I've never used anything before 3.68 and the problem has always occurred. I'm using the Full Information report if that helps.

I have HM automatically generating an HTML report every 5 minutes that users can access through the web to make sure things are running smoothly. However, the tests are listed in the order in which I added them and not alphabetically in the order I have them in the actual HM application. Is there a ...

I am trying to have a test send out an alert for an HTTP test accessing a server using SSL (port 443) for when the reply time is greater than 950ms. However, no matter how I set it up it gives me a Bad response even with nothing in the check contents field. Also, when I go into the advanced window i...

If you go into the Options menu and then select the Connections tab, you should select the second option, "connect directly to net". If you have the first and default option "use registry configuration" specified, it will use your IE Settings.

OK, that works exactly as I need it to... I was putting the % in the wrong place which is why it wasn't working correctly.

Thank you very much!

I am trying to store my daily logs in a folder with the short month name and year. IE: Today's report would go in the C:logsMay03 folder but a file for June 1 would go in the c:logsJun03 folder. I tried doing this with macros but it only seems to affect the actual file name and not the folder name. ...

I was trying to figure out how to do this as well. If anyone has any ideas on how to do this with voice-xml or something else, please let me know. Pager coverage here is spotty and voice messages would be so much better for non-business hours.

Thanks,
Frank

I am trying to set up a test to have Hostmonitor check to see if the current date appears on a page to make sure it's updated. I tried using the macro variables in the "Check Contents" box but it doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas on how to do this or if it's even possible? My date stri...

First off, Hostmonitor is great and the proposes for 4.0 look spectacular, can't wait to use it. One enhancement I'd like to see is an easier to use email action tool. Right now, I have some of my actions set to email as many as 10 people and to view their names in that little box is annoying. Possi...
