Wish list: easier NSlookup

I like the NSLOOKUP function of IP tools, but it's very clumsy to go into options, and select that I want MX records instead of A. It'll be better to have the option to select which record types I want in the main nslookup screen. An option to view all records, of all types, will also be useful. Tha...

Thank you both. The reason I don't want to use a mode is twofold: 1) It's much slower. It may take a minute or two before I get notified. 2) The current server that I have crashes every time I try to dial through the modem. Can you give me more details about the SMS application that you use? Thanks ...

Hi! I use a ping test to the top DNS server in Denmark (that's where I'm living). If that fails about 80% of the Danish Internet servers are down :-) Sure I dosn't make a 100% sure test if MY Internet connection is down or if the ISP is missing a connection to the Danish top DNS (or DIX) but it giv...

Question about notification (for everyone)

Hello everyone, I have a question about the way you get notified when a test goes bad, specifically, I am interested in how you get notified when Internet connectivity is down . Our network is made of 3 zones: LAN, DMZ, and Internet. The firewall sits in the middle, and controls the traffic. I put H...

Your mother is stupid

Idiot. A software that overwrites your settings without a warning and I'm the idiot? Everyone make mistakes, and I can assure you that I can read and write better than you or any family member of yours. In any normal software, some precautions are taken before such a destructive measure is taken. Te...

oh boy....

Let me tell you....this is absolutley the most stupid install I've ever seen. I can't think of any single program, EXCEPT HostMonitor, that does this. Why would I even need two buttons?! In every piece of software that you'll find out there, the Install button is also an upgrade one, and when you in...

The install screwed my settings!

I downloaded HM v3.71 and wanted to upgrade my system. So....I ran the exe after downloading and I didn't even see the option to "upgrade". I just hit Enter, Enter, Enter until the install started running. Now my mail profile and everything else that I worked on for the past half a year is...

I don't intend to. I like the software. It's good. It help me A LOT. I only had a comment about the quality level of technical support. I think it's time to show some courtesy to people who pay you, not just for the software, but for customer support as well. Your reply was a bit rude in my opinion....

That was sarcasm. The funny thing is that if your FIRST response was what you wrote in your SECOND reply (above): "We always do everything what's possible to correct some bugs but we cannot make changes in interface or program's behavior for each customer. Because this program is not for 1 or 2...

I think that you're right and that this is what happened.

How can I make the test "think" that it was never performed then? Reset it?

Thanks

And in the current situation, if I have:

1) "Mail only myself, Danny, Ronald and Rodney"

And

2) "Mail only myself, Danny, Ronald"

They look the same....
