Currently it is set to logon as "Local system account" Based on what you are saying I should change this to a domian account? I did setup the information in connection manager with a user name & password to the file on the remote server.

Is there a simple way to monitor SQL Server backups? We have serveral SQL servers and we are looking for HostMonitor to notify us if a SQL backup fails or stop running on a daily basis.
