Hi Alex There was no a HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\HTMLHelp registry key on our server. I created one. Created the 1.x and then the HHRestrictions keys. I then created the 2 DWORDS and then restarted the service. It works now. Thank you very much for your persisitance in resolving the prob...

I get the same thing happening with version 5.86 on Windows 2003 SP1. I upgraded from version 4 and kept the C:\program files\hostmonitor4\ installation directory. Don't know if this is why it can't find the help file when running as a service as it may be looking for the hostmon.chm file in C:\prog...

RCC - Accept remote connections from host name wish
Hi In the User Profiles settings window. It would be good if a User Profile could "accept remote connections from" a host name for RCC connections. Currently HM only appears to accept IP addresses which is close to useless for machines in a DHCP environment. P.s. am enjoying version 5.86. ...
