Alex I've sent you our .lst files again via email. This time zipping them up as the sizes you have recieved are vastly smaller than what they are on the server. If you think, after looking at them this time around that they are corrupt then maybe it will be worth us setting up all the hosts again? D...

Hi Im still experiencing problems where the server which just runs HM3.32 on windows2000server sp3 just reboots over night. The event log doesn't give anything away to the cause of the problem. I did think it may be norton antivirus due to the same bugcheck reported on their site so i removed it and...

Hi In my HM view i have subfolders under folders. On one folder i have selcted to pump out reports evry 5mins and have inheritable settings set on the sub folders. However since upgrading to 3.30 it doesn't show these subfolders on the html page. whereas before it would show:- PARENT FOLDER SUBFOLDE...

Hi

after recntly installing HM3.26 i have found on my cpu monitoring whenever i look at it, it is always checking; and i never see a reply. Could you tell me why this may be the case??

Checked that and the path is in there.It is quite long containg various (;) paths. I guess this isn't really to do with host monitor sorry.

where do you change the path then?
When i do a set in dos it is correct for the home dir.

Hey

I have recently setup oracle monitoring on host monitor. I have installed the encessary clients it needs along with the tns names file. However when running a 'test' on a host it bring back the error message in HM saying 'unable to load OCI.dll

any ideas?

Hey I have had to trash the server with host monitor on and start again. Ive got that working now on:

NET SEND JAMES TEST

test being the message is there any variables i could include in the message to show the test name or would that not be possible due to it not being a /option in the net send command

Just a network broadcast using IP wheer you can select the reciepients usually by browsing the domain for machines that will recieve the alert.

Hey

I have 3 instances on HM running on the same server each running checks on about 225 hosts at the same time. The server is rebooting itself after memory dumping after looking in the event log its blaming it on system resources.Its q.quick with 660mb. Could Host monitor cause such an impact?
