The only snag if orsee is that DC's don't have a local admin group but domain admins groups instead. probably it has to be in there then. Then i can put forward a case to our security department. I'll ...

Hi alex,

On the 5.92 version this patch is working great. It indeed speeds it up a lot.

Combined with the folder split you suggested cpu for webservice now rarely goes over 10 %.

Thanks for the fix.

May be its better to provide access to HostMonitor? Then your admins will be able to disable/enable test items, acnowledge problems and so on. -1) Right now you cannot enter some invalid data, HostMonitor checks all parameters. If HostMonitor, some home made scripts and several admins will access o...

Hi alex, We mostly have problems with our importing routine. We have an oracle database that contains a view of our servers with their country, status, and some more fields for our Monitoring department to use in their alerts, like urgency and vitality. This is only a small subset of all the informa...

Hostmonitor list based on SQL or oracle database.

Due to our contstant problems with importing through import files to the test list :o Please make hostmonitor Enterprise capable by creating the possiblity to run tests from a database backend instead of a HML test list. A database backend can easily be linked to or use tables from another database ...

As I see HostMonitor<->WebService data transfer needs just a second (or less) but you have all tests in the same folder, so Web Service must create a huge web page - that's the problem. I would recommend to separate tests by folders and use "Display tests from current folder only" option ...

Webservice taking 100% cpu

Hi Alex, We recently upgraded to 5.70 for our memory leak problem which seems to be solved now. Unfortunatly i notice a second problem now regarding the webservice service. When refreshing a page it takes about 15 seconds and the webservice takes 100 % cpu then. As several controlroom people monitor...

HI alex, I have following problem Our hostmonitor servers are setup to perform an automated import routine. I've got test 1 to check the hml file to see how old it is. if it's older then 5 minutes it alerts "bad" an triggers a query on a database. From that moment test 2 and 3 need to beco...

Webservice refresh problems : doesn't work on some values

Hi Alex, Our controlroom is complaining about the number of "bad" "good" tests that are displayed incorrectly. For example the number is 2, and when you open the link it shows 5 bad tests. It apparently doesn't refresh correctly in the browser. The browser is on "every visit...
