Hi
I am just testing out a backup and restore of Host Monitor in case of hardware failure.

I followed the info on the FAQ thread, all appears to load fine, all the folders and tests are present, however when I go into the test itself, the wrong RMA Agent is selected!

Admittedly, I did read the note about Windows 7 type machines (and yep, going from a 2003 server to my Windows 7 laptop as a test), is this "issue" part of that or another problem?

Sounds like configuration files inconsistency.
You should backup/restore all configuration files (*.HML, *.LST and *.INI files) at once.

Think I have just figured it out!

Before I did the copy I installed a fresh version of HM onto the Win7 machine THEN copied the HM folder before starting it.

I then noticed a registry entry and made a note about the ProgramData folder.

Uninstalled it completely from the backup machine, copied across the Hostmonitor folder, loaded up and all appears fine!
