|
|
Assumed the following Master / dependent tests:
A
|-AA
|-AB
.....|-ABA
(A is Master for AA and AB)
(AB is Master for ABA)
When A changes to Bad, then AA and AB immediately go to "Wait for Master"
ABA is not rechecked and changes not until the next regular testinterval
The same when A changes to GOOD, only AA and AB are rechecked. ABA is not rechecked.
Can that behavior be changed, please ?
PS: I was just a bit wondering about dependant, but it seems OK
From LEO.ORG
dependent vs. dependant (as adj.)
Can anybody tell me what is the difference between the two words, from the point of view of usage? Is it possible that "dependant" is more ancient? Is it OK to use "dependant" in the area of computer technology?
Comment: Both are OK; there's no difference in meaning. It appears according to the dictionaries that "dependent" is used more frequently and "dependant", when it is used, is mostly US usage.
EDIT: Hm...
Sometimes that works, sometimes none of the dependant tests are rechecked.
Maybe there is a dependency with the "Refresh selected item" function or with changing and saving the mastertest. I'm not sure what the problem is
EDIT: Or even with "Consider status of master test obsolete after xx seconds" |
