LOG Analyser in V5 Beta

Post by adrianjuk »

The new features are brilliant but when I filter down to a particular time, the time scale in the report does not match the filter e.g.

If I choose to filter between 08:00 and 10:00, the report still shows the scale until the end of the day. It is really useful to be able to produce a report that only covers the hours within the filter

Otherwise, it's fantastic, just like Hostmonitor

Thank you :)

Sorry, I am not sure what scale you have in mind. Scale that is displayed on chart?
When time filter is enabled, chart displays all data where probes out of specified time interval are greyed out

I think it would be better if the only data in the window was the data within the filter

If I choose one hour as a filter then only that hour should be in the window of the report. Having other data in there outside the filter makes it more difficult to see the filtered data

There are many times when I would like to look at a one hour period and produc a report based on that hour only

The only way I can do that is to remove the unwanted dta from the log file
and produce the report based on that

Cheers
