Trying to use HTTP XML post using Japanese characters...

Post by mpriess »

The following is an excerpt from an XML post that originally had Japanese character's in it but when I paste it into Hostmonitor the characters are replaced with ?'s...

xmldoc=<?xml version ="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><!DOCTYPE IBMPost1in SYSTEM "IBMPost1in.dtd"><IBMPost1in><account_type>H</account_type><country_code>392</country_code><language_code>jpn</language_code><currency_code>JPY</currency_code><source_code>SHOP</source_code><first_name>??</first_name><middle_init>??????</middle_iit><last_name>???</last_name</IBMPost1in>

Note: The Japanense character set has been installed on the windows system and the characters display fine in notepad\wordpad.

Running hostmonitor 4.80 on Windows 2003

Thx,
Mark

Unfortunately problem located deep in the compiler library. We will not be able to change it in nearest versions :-(
