Version 5.30 works with E4, E16, EM1 devices. But there is one mistake - HM does not calculate Min/Max/Average Reply counters. It was fixed in version 5.34
Version 5.60 supports model CM16
I am not sure what the difference between model E16 and E16 International. You should ask Sensatronics.

Alex,
I can see there is U4 available with all similar features. Is this compatible with HM 5.92 and RMA 3.5?

U4? Universal Temperature Monitor, 4 probes? Version 5.92 does not support this unit. Version 6.00 does.

Sadly, we have already chosen another temperature/environmental control system. What are the chances that other products such as our "weathergoose" ( http://www.itwatchdogs.com/products.shtml ) will be supported in the future? Otherwise, are there any specific caveats to watch for when trying to use SNMP to send alerts from hostmon? We only have the standard hostmon (no MIB browser). Thanx for any information you can provide. |

As I see WeatherGoose and SuperGoose support SNMP protocol, so you can use HostMonitor to perform SNMP Get test method.

SNMP Get test can be performed without MIB browser, you just need to type correct OID. Manual that comes with the device should help you to find that OID

Hi Steven,
the "weathergoose" seems quite interesting to us, too (more versatile, 19"-mount, ...)
How long do use the goose?
What experiences did you make?

Thomas, sorry for not responding. Had not realized anyone was posting here still.
We have just purchased it and only have it set up these past 3 months or so. Also, we have nothing to compare it to. We bought an IP Camera to go with it and it works well too, after updating the firmware. But, we cannot get it to e-mail us alerts when the camera triggers on motion. Have not taken the time to work with their support on this issue yet either. If we do, I'll try to remember to post something here. |
