Hello,

What would be the best way to use Hostmonitor to track traffic passing throught my managed switch. I want to graph traffic by protocol such as SMTP/HTTP/POP etc.. I know I can use a protocol analyzer, but can I do this with Hostmonitor or can I use Hostmonitor with a simple protocol analyzer to do this ?

HostMonitor cannot do that, unless your switch can provide separate SNMP counters for HTTP/SMTP/POP traffic
