Getting incorrect values from Synology NAS

Post by mrw »

Hi,

I´m monitoring a Synology DS414 using all the available Synology templates in Hostmon.
But several values I get doesn´t seem to be correct.

Free disk space return 65% for "all local drives", but the correct value should be around 98% ATM.
And the Disk Load tests report above 90% for Disk 3, but disk 3 is not doing anything at all ATM.

The Synology is using 4 drives split into 2 raid 1 pools. Disk 3 is in a pool that has 0 files on it and no usage at all. No internal checking either.
If the Disk Load alerted for Disk 1 och 2 then that could be correct ATM.

Perhaps I have made some incorrect setting somewhere to cause this?

Regards,
//Andreas..

Can we get SNMP access to your device?

Perhaps.
I´ll look into it and see what I can do. Hopefully I can set something up by the end of next week.

To be continued.. ;)
