Hi,
I´m trying to set up basic windows monitoring(CPU, mem, disk, win-services) on a remote server using an RMA on a different subnet.
I can only use tests that are SNMP-based, but not those that are RPC-based.
The RPC-tests gives me error messages such as "Access denied" or "The remote procedure call failed and did not execute"
The target is a "Windows 2012 R2 Foundation" in a workgroup.
I only have local accounts that are in the administrators group.
I have set up the account in the Connection Manager with the targets ipaddress as Host/Resource.
I think the problem is that something in the server is blocking the RPC-calls. I just can´t figure out what. The local Windows Firewall is off. UAC slider is set to lowest. What else could be blocking this?
Any help on this is appreciated.

Problems monitoring a remote server
So RMA is running on domain member system as service using domain account and RMA is able to check other domain systems?
While RMA cannot check workgroup system in the same LAN segment?
You have set Connection Manager record for this workgroup system using local administrator and firewall on workstation is disabled?
Should work
Could you send Connection Manager screen shots to support@ks-soft.net?

Correct. So RMA is running on domain member system as service using domain account and RMA is able to check other domain systems?
No. It can check other servers running in workstation mode both in the same lan and other subnets. It´s just this specific server that I have problems with. While RMA cannot check workgroup system in the same LAN segment?
I will send the screenshot asap to you.
