Hi everybody,

we have the problem that the hostmon-service sometimes crashes after a server restart. hostmon service (v10.20) is running under a user-account with local admin rights on a win 2008 r2 server with latest patches.

Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.1.7601.23543, time stamp: 0x57d2f948
Exception code: 0x0eedfade
Fault offset: 0x0000c54f
Faulting process id: 0xf20
Faulting application start time: 0x01d23b3d816c91d4
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\HostMonitor\hostmon.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\syswow64\KERNELBASE.dll
Report Id: 9a22eebc-a731-11e6-afae-c81f66b941ae

Any idea about that?

Hard to say what can be wrong, address of the exception outside of HostMonitor code...
Antivirus monitor? some other 3rd part software that may change system behavior?

Do you use ODBC logging or ODBC test method? If yes, what ODBC driver do you use?
If you start HostMonitor as application, same problem?

I assume you are using HostMonitor for many years? What change on the system caused the problem?

Regards
Alex
