Just provide external IP address or hostname and make sure firewall does not block connection to port 443

Our Host Monitor server is not directly accessible through firewall; we would need to define an external IP address for it and then a NAT rule through our firewall |

We don't need access to HostMonitor server.
Target server - the one you are trying to check.

Again, no direct access.
if you use 210.215.138.196 it will take you to our proxy ADFS servers in our DMZ which then communicate with our internal ADFS servers that I am trying to certificate test; if I try to test our proxy AFS servers is still have a similar issue; will e-mail screen shot |

Since update from hm 9.90 to 10.00 we face the same problem.
As are workaround i tested to use an agent instead but the result is:
"RMA: 301 - Cannot load SSL engine. Openssl libraries are required".
After this message i updated the rma and placed the openssl binaries from hm installation folder in rma dir.
libeay32.dll - 1.362.432 Byte 12.06.2015 Version 1.0.2c
ssleay32.dll - 357.888 Byte 12.06.2015 Version 1.0.2c
The error persists.
The test is for an internal and an external system. If you want the URI of the external system i can give it to you via PM. |

Open SSL Libraries version is correct.
Please send host/port for your external system to support@ks-soft.net |

Unknown Error: SSL cannot be initialized. WSAStartup cannot function at this time because the underlying system it uses to provide network services is currently unavailable.
The above has started to come back on 3 of our systems (Barracuda Message Archiver Appliance, Barracuda Spam and Virus Firewall Appliance, and one of our IIS servers.
I can get it to go away by "reversing test"; refreshing test; un-reversing and refreshing test again but it comes back within a day. |

HostMonitor version?
>I can get it to go away by "reversing test"; refreshing test;
I don't see how "reverse alert" option can be related. I think simple refresh will work exactly the same way

Alex

I know it seems odd but refresh doesn't work; reverse test returns "bad" and then un-reversing returns good |
