Hello,
User has the following rights:
1. edit GUI options for the account
2.view test settings (read-only).
When user try to change color scheme(User -> GUI preferences) HM says sorry no rights.
When user open test properties on any test he cant mark test coments and cant copy comments.
Can you fix this or this is not a bug ? We are using HM ver. 8.06.
Thanks in advance.
GUI preferences and test settings
We cannot reproduce the problem1. edit GUI options for the account
2.view test settings (read-only).
When user try to change color scheme(User -> GUI preferences) HM says sorry no rights.
Note: changes in "user rights" settings may not be applied if user already logged in. New setting will be applied for all future logins.
This is correct behavior2.view test settings (read-only).
When user open test properties on any test he cant mark test coments and cant copy comments

Alex

I just tried the same on fresh install of HM 8.06 on another box. The problem persists.
Create user only with the following rights: "edit GUI options for the account" "view test settings" "acknowledge test status";
Connect using RCC 3.02 and press User -> GUI options -> "change color scheme" browse button and the we get the error screen.
There is no problem when the user has the "edit GUI options for All accounts".
Because our operators use these field to copy information to the clipboard is there any possibility to make them selectable (just as the master test filed can be edited but cannot be saved). This is correct behavior
Oh, yes. It cannot select color palette because it does not have rights.Connect using RCC 3.02 and press User -> GUI options -> "change color scheme" browse button and the we get the error screen.
May be we can add "read-only" permission for such accounts
Please send your request into "whish list" forumBecause our operators use these field to copy information to the clipboard is there any possibility to make them selectable (just as the master test filed can be edited but cannot be saved).
