Hi.
I created action profile that generate report in HTML-file. In options of this profile i selected "Generate reports for specific folder" option with selection "Folder & all subfolders" in recursive mode option.
Structure of this folder is like:
Folder
Subfolder1
Subfolder2
Subfolder3
But in report are only string with names of Folder and Subfolders and tests of Subfolder3. No tests in Folder, Subfolder1 and Subfolder2:
Test name Status Average reply Total time Alive time Dead time Alive % Dead % Unknown % Modified at
Folder: Root\Folder1\
Folder: Root\Folder1\Subfolder1\
Folder: Root\Folder1\Subfolder2\
Folder: Root\Folder1\Subfolder3\
Test1 Ok 149 1 day 00:25:44 02:27:20 08:10:14 10,16 % 33,78 % 54,82 % 2006-12-21 13:22:27
Test2 Ok 300 1 day 00:30:04 23:03:27 00:25:35 94,63 % 1,76 % 3,43 % 2006-12-21 13:22:27
Test3 Ok 2452 1 day 00:25:41 1 day 00:15:55 00:09:46 99,34 % 0,66 % 0,00 % 2006-12-21 13:22:28
What's can be wrong? HM v.6.51.
Thanks. |

By default, not all tests are included into HTML report. Please open Report Profiles window, select the appropriate profile, and ensure, that all tests are marked within "Include following test methods" listbox.

Max |

Sorry, could not reproduce the problem. How many tests do you have in such subfolders? What types of tests are there? What statuses do tests show?

Ok.
I created Action Profile "Generate Reports". In "Bad" status action of this profile i have two actions: Report1, Report2.
Report1:
- Condition to start action - on the schedule;
- Time restriction - 7 Days, 24 Hours;
- Generate reports for specific folder - Root\Folder1 (this folder doesn't contain any subfolders);
- Recursive mode: Folder & subfolders.
Report2:
- Condition to start action - on the schedule;
- Time restriction - 7 Days, 24 Hours;
- Generate reports for specific folder - Root\Folder2 (this folder contain three subfolders);
- Recursive mode: Folder & subfolders.
Settings of folders options on "Report" menu:
Root\Folder1:
[x] Use folder's own reports settings;
[x] HTML Report of Folder1;
[x] C:\Reports\Folder1--%yyyy%_%mm%_%ww%--Report.htm
[x] Execute action profile when complete - Send Report to Admin_of_folder1 (this action start sending e-mail with file of report).
Root\Folder2
[x] Use folder's own reports settings;
[x] HTML Report of Folder2;
[x] C:\Reports\Folder2--%yyyy%_%mm%_%ww%--Report.htm
[x] Execute action profile when complete - Send Report to Admin_of_folder2 (this action start sending e-mail with file of report. All subfolders has "Use inheritable settings from parent folder" option in "Reports" menu).
HTML Report of Folder1:
- All settings checked in "Status' filter. Display test items:" list.
- All settings checked in "Include following test methods:" list.
- Any settings checked in "Display following fileds:" list including "Test name".
HTML Report of Folder2:
- All settings checked in "Status' filter. Display test items:" list.
- All settings checked in "Include following test methods:" list.
- Any settings checked in "Display following fileds:" list including "Test name".
In Options->Scheduler menu i have schedule:
- daily - at 08:00 - Generate Reports;
- regular - every 60 min - Generate Reports (test schedule).
Report of Folder1 contents all tests of this folder. Report of Folder2 contents all tests from Subfolder3 (last subfolder of Folder2). No tests from root of Folder2, Subfolder1 and Subfolder2.
Folder1 has 21 tests with ping test method.
Folder2 has 83 tests with ping, CPU Usage and check UNC test methods. Subfolder1 has 51 tests with TCP port test method, Subfolder2 has 22 tests with TCP port test method, Subfolder3 has 19 tests with Perf Counter and Shell Script test methods.
In Folder2, Subfolder1, Subfolder3 tests have Ok, Host is alive, No answer, Disabled, Bad, Unknown statuses. In Subfolder2 tests have Host is alive status. |

Still cannot reproduce. Could you send *.hml, *.lst and *.ini files from HostMonitor's folder to support@ks-soft.net?

I'm very very sorry. My bigest problems are careless mistakes.
There is "Exclude from reports: [x] HTML" was checked in properties of all tests exclude Subfolder3's tests.
Sorry and thanks. |

Yep. With this option enabled, test is being excluded from report.
Anyway, glad it works.
